As the landscape becomes increasingly developed, urban and digital and our lives busier than ever; our relationship to nature and its bounty fade farther away from our daily experience.
This is precisely why we invite our guests to venture back to the threshold of the wild and beautiful world and reimagine their relationship to the creative intelligence that sustains us through immersive experiences at Catawissa Creek.

Come celebrate the summer solstice and welcome the Strawberry Full Moon with a JourneyDance on the farm. JourneyDance is a transformative movement practice that leads you to greater freedom, self expression, and joy. It allows you to rediscover your natural intuitive movement while releasing judgement of yourself and others. If music and movement are your medicine, you will want to take this opportunity to come together, connect with others, and share some good energy.
The outdoor session will be led by JourneyDance facilitator, Cynthia Schroll, who has been leading dances since 2017. The one-hour session will begin at 6:00PM, though you may want to arrive a bit early to enjoy the beautiful surroundings on the farm. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one and wear comfortable clothing and shoes that will allow you to move freely outdoors.
This will be a donation based event with all donations going directly to the Bloomsburg Seed Library. The Bloom Seed Library offers the community free seeds, encouraging growers to plant, cultivate, harvest, and eventually donate seeds back to the library.
